how do i prepare matcha?
sift 1–2 teaspoons of matcha into a bowl, add a splash of warm water, whisk until smooth, then top with 70–100ml of hot (but not boiling) water or milk. whisk in an “m” motion for the smoothest result.
is your matcha ceremonial grade?
yes. our ceremonial grade matcha is intended for drinking straight with water. we also offer everyday and latte blends for versatile daily use.
aaand! yes — pure matcha contains no gluten, dairy, or additives.
where is your matcha sourced from?
our matcha is sourced directly from kyoto, japan through trusted growers and suppliers who follow traditional cultivation methods.
my matcha arrived clumpy — is that normal?
yes. clumping naturally occurs because matcha is extremely fine. we recommend sifting before use for the smoothest texture.
how should i store my matcha?
keep your matcha in an airtight container, away from heat, moisture, and light. refrigerate after opening for maximum freshness.
how long does matcha last?
unopened: typically 6–12 months.
opened: best consumed within 4–6 weeks for optimal colour and flavour.
